Electronics Reverse Logistics Support in Kenya
Organisations that manage fleets of equipment need a dependable route for failed units to go back into circulation. Sinsal provides a structured intake, assessment and repair-or-refurbish path for returned electronics.

Service Overview
Reverse logistics here means the return flow of failed or surplus electronic equipment: from the point of failure, through assessment, to repair, refurbishment or a documented decision to retire the unit. Without a structure, returned items pile up, their condition is unknown and repeat faults go unnoticed.
Sinsal's contribution is the technical part of that flow. Every unit is received against a record, assessed to a documented finding and either repaired, refurbished or reported as not worth repairing. Transport and courier arrangements remain with you or your logistics provider, and the specifics of any programme are agreed in writing in advance.

What You May Receive
Per-unit assessment record, Batch fault summary, Repair, refurbishment or retirement recommendation.
Warranty
Completed repairs are accompanied by warranty documentation. The cover, its term and its exclusions are written on the warranty document issued with the job, so they are agreed in writing for your equipment rather than assumed. Warranty applies to the repaired fault and the work carried out, not to unrelated failures elsewhere in the equipment.
Important Limitation
Sinsal provides the assessment, repair and refurbishment steps. Transport, customs and warehousing are not provided. Programme terms are agreed in writing before work begins.
Common Questions
Can you handle a large batch of returned units?
Yes. Batches are received against records and assessed together. Contact Sinsal to agree the batch size and handling before sending.
Do you collect equipment from my site?
Transport is not part of the repair service. Equipment is delivered to the Nairobi laboratory by you or your courier, and any arrangement beyond that is agreed separately.
What happens to units that cannot be repaired?
You receive a documented finding. The handling of such units is agreed in advance, whether returned as-is or dealt with in another way you specify.
Managing a Pool of Returned Electronics?
Describe the equipment and the fault. Sinsal will confirm whether it is a fit for diagnostics and repair before any work begins.
