Important Limitation
Not all flash memory is recoverable — physical damage to the chip itself, or heavy wear-related degradation, can put data or firmware beyond recovery. Encrypted or vendor-locked firmware may also be outside what direct hardware recovery can restore.

Can corrupted firmware or BIOS always be recovered?
Often, if the flash chip itself is intact and accessible — assessment confirms feasibility before recovery work begins. Physically damaged chips or vendor-encrypted firmware may not be recoverable.
What's the difference between this and a standard repair?
