What Happens During an Electronics Diagnostic Assessment?
24 Jan 2026
Diagnostics turns "it doesn't work" into a defined electrical problem — the basis every repair decision depends on.

The steps involved
Visual and microscope inspection first. Then power-rail analysis and oscilloscope measurements. Then signal tracing and continuity testing to isolate the fault to a specific stage or component.
What comes out of it
Diagnostic findings, a repairability recommendation, and a proposed next action — the customer knows what's wrong and what the options are before agreeing to anything further.
What it doesn't guarantee
Diagnostics identifies the fault — it doesn't guarantee that repairing it is commercially practical. That judgment comes as part of the recommendation.
